TV Show Appearance Postponed

Great to see so many new faces at Make Music NY today- had a blast and got a nice farmer’s tan! Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

We’re going to be on TV this Wednesday!!!

That’s right, it may be the first time an oboe trio has rocked out on the tube! After earning a permit and banner from the kind folks at Music Under New York (we auditioned for it May and should be hitting the subway stations this summer), we were asked to appear on Good Day New York (Fox 5)! You can see us play/chat at 9:50am this Wednesday morning…set the DVR!

Wednesday, June 15th: Threeds will be joining Andrew Vladeck on a tune at his CD release show at Joe’s Pub- 9pm- don’t miss him, he’s fantastic!

Saturday, June 18th: We’ll be participating in a Summer Solstice event at the Kimmel Center in Philly- so excited about our first PA show! 2:30pm-3:30pm in the Rendell Room.

Tuesday, June 21st– Make Music New York- you can find us at 96th/Broadway @ 1pm and on MacDougal and 8th St. at 3pm- FREE!

FREE Show Tonight!

We are so thrilled to be joining Amber Rubarth for a few tunes tonight at the Rockwood Music Hall at 10pm-FREE show! Amber will be recording this show (featuring several guest musicians), and the recording will be available online (also for free!) very soon! Don’t miss this one- going to be a great night!

Rockwood Music Hall is located at 196 Allen Street (between Houston and Santon). F train to 2nd avenue.

What an exciting week it has been! We had a blast playing in LA at Wood & Vine and in Tempe at the 2011 IDRS convention. So wonderful to see so many old friends and to make so many new ones! Thanks to everyone for your support!

Double Entendre & Delmar

Fun day today at IDRS- started the day at the Galvin playhouse listening Double Entendre, featuring the amazing Christa Robinson on oboe, Caleb Burhans on violin, John Pickford Richards on viola and Brian Snow on cello. They rocked the Bresnick! Then floated around to other fun recitals, had lunch with Barbara LaFitte & Preston Repenning and then hit the exhibit hall- so much to see there (and buy!). Just got back from the screening of Matt Dine’s film “Honk if Know Delmar”, which was hilarious- gave Delmar our CD, hope he likes it!
